On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, Birmingham Water Works’ Public Information Officers Brad Steffens and Michael Tartt, Jr., had the opportunity to meet with the Fountain Heights Neighborhood Association. We gathered at the Fountain Heights Recreational Center and were glad to meet neighborhood officials, and we were treated to guest speakers from the local firefighters’ association, police department and neighborhood advocacy groups specializing in anti-crime initiatives.
Birmingham Water Works was there to discuss our #BillBetter Guarantee, leak detection and prevention and billing concerns from local residents. In addition, we had the opportunity to speak with residents of West Brownsville, Roosevelt, Woodlawn and Norwood for community-wide feedback.
Birmingham Water Works continues to deepen community relationships with civic leaders and stakeholders, including elected officials, nonprofits and advocacy groups to help address some of the community’s most pressing needs. Leaving footprints in our communities is part of how we build relationships with the customers we’re proud to serve, and we look forward to continuing to strengthen our ties to the community.
